PTM 2009 Summer Care Program
PTM plans a variety of Summer activities such as working in the garden, cooking, fieldtrips, water play, nature walks, participation in our local 4th of July Parade, increased outdoor classroom work, and more time to just freely play outside.
This is a time where we put a lot of the Montessori equipment away and get more in tough with nature and each other. The first 4 weeks include the study of insects, food chains, ecology, and conservation care of the environment. The second 4 weeks study includes the Oceans, ocean/ seashore life, ocean ecology, invertebrates.
